Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Khalari is a co-educational English medium school situated in the Karkatta, Khalari Ranchi. The school imparts education from Prep to the Secondary Level. Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Karkatta , Khalari is situated at the distance of 80 Km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Under Companies Social Responsibility (CSR) Cooking Coal Limited (CCL) has provided land to open this school and to educate very poor tribal people as well as their workers' ward. Khalari is famous for ACC and CCL projects at hand from the school.

There are villagers and the area surrounding of this school is covered with rorcsls and mountains. The school is on the lap of the beauty of nature.

This is an ideal school of this area where mostly tribal's live in villages. The school is giving education and spreading light of knowledge among villagers, tribal's and CCL worker's ward since 1990. We are trying to give our best to the society and the nation in the field of education.
